I bought a cell phone here, specifically a SoftBank pre-paid phone. The phone itself was ¥5250, and then a ¥3,000 pre-paid card makes the account valid for 60 days. Unlimited email is ¥300/30 days, and actual phone calls are 90¥/minute, so it is really a mobile emailing platform rather than a voice communication device. (The phone I got was a Samsung 730SC, which unfortunately isn’t a flip phone, but it was the only prepaid phone they had at the SoftBank office convenient to me)
