I started in Tsumago, and ended in Magome. I had to take a bus to and from those cities, since it is a ways off the Chuo line, hence the preserved state of the area.

This place was pretty cool. Open even in January, it is “free”, although there is a donation thing in the middle of the table. The guy served me green tea, umeshu, and a little bit of food. It was a tad smoky(wood smoke) in the room, and not very warm. This was about 3 km from Magome.
