I actually have no idea what they select roommates based on aside from sex and requested living accommodation. That is only for assigned roommates, if you choose your roommate, they don’t care who or what as long as they get their money and the apartment isn’t damaged.
My roommates name is Jonzi, and I think he is a few years younger than me. He has a recent interest in photography, so he is always amazed when I break out my camera stuff.
